Assam tea is our premier tea, a black tea named after the region of its production, Assam, India. 

A chocolate brown in colour with a smoky earthy smell.

 Assam is not that far from Darjeeling but has a far greater rainfall.

Accounting for 55% of India’s total annual tea production, Assam,  land is rich and fertile with soils delivered by the flowing Brahmaputra river.

This is our premier tea and used as the main stay in our English Breakfast blend
